Dear Students and Parents,
As instructional leader, I am committed to the philosophy that schools must prepare students to teach themselves so they will be able to remain current with the knowledge and technology of the 21st Century yet to be constructed. Armed with the fundamental skills of reading, writing and math, LAS students must also be able to analyze what they are learning for its personal, societal, and environmental impact. The well rounded students of LAS will develop the character traits of honesty, integrity, responsibility, respect and tolerance of diversity as they prepare for future leadership roles.
The most effective schools enjoy Parents, Students and Educators working together–each doing his or her part–to maximize learning.
